Yemen congratulates Iran on ‘historic victory’ , affirms readiness to secure its legitimate rights

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has welcomed the signing of a memorandum of understanding aimed at ending the aggression and blockade imposed on the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In a statement, the ministry congratulated Iran on its historic victory against US-Israeli military campaign, expressing gratitude and praise to God for the achievement.

The statement said that recent regional developments and their military and political outcomes have demonstrated the effectiveness of resistance as a means of confronting forces of domination and hegemony, arguing that the approach has proven to be the most effective and least costly path for protecting nations, preserving rights and safeguarding dignity.

It reaffirmed that the Palestinian cause remains the central issue and guiding priority for resistance movements and allied forces across the region, including the Al-Quds and Resistance Axis. The ministry described the Palestinian issue as the focal point of the struggle against the Zionist project and said it could not be compromised under any circumstances.

The statement further said the Israeli enemy must recognize the strategic changes that have taken place in the region over recent years, arguing that it is no longer capable of confronting the Palestinian people in isolation or imposing its equations by force. It added that any future confrontation would face a unified response and broad support from resistance movements and regional allies.

The Foreign Ministry also stated that the Yemeni people, in response to the Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, are prepared to secure their full legitimate rights and to work toward ending all forms of aggression, occupation and blockade imposed on the country.
