Sanaa Outlines Its Next Targets Deep Inside Saudi Arabia and Announces New Phases to Break the Siege and Restore Rights

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirmed that the Yemeni people, with all their institutions, have resolved to end the aggression, break the siege, and repel the aggressor, and will not back down from this decision, no matter the cost.

This came in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, commenting on the Saudi enemy’s statement and its attempt to mislead public opinion by distorting facts and falsifying realities. The statement emphasized that reopening Sanaa International Airport is a sovereign right of Yemen, and Sanaa is proceeding with this without anyone’s permission.

The statement continued, “We in Yemen are still in the initial stages of breaking the siege and ending the suffering, relying on God Almighty. The oppressive Saudi regime must realize that there are still many stages to come that will restore our dear and honorable people’s usurped rights and end the state of misery and suffering. The statement by the official spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces is clear, explicit, and serious in this regard.”

He added, “The Saudi regime should turn its attention to the oil fields, Aramco, Yanbu, and the other ports, as well as the stock market, Vision 2030, and other projects, so that it might come to its senses and realize the magnitude of the disaster that will befall it should it commit any folly.”

The statement continued, “The Saudi enemy’s claim that we rejected the roadmap agreed upon between us and them under the auspices of our brothers in the Sultanate of Oman is completely false. We have repeatedly affirmed our acceptance of it on numerous occasions, and the Saudi regime’s claim of our rejection is entirely baseless.”

The statement continued, “The Saudi enemy was lying in wait during the Battle of the Flood, betting first on Israeli and American aggression against Yemen, and then on American and Israeli aggression against Iran, believing that this would help it evade the peace obligations it must fulfill as a result of its aggression against our country. It thought this could be an opportunity for it to further reassert its control over Yemen, which, thanks be to God, did not happen.” The statement pointed out that the opposite occurred, as the lines were drawn, and the Saudi regime, rife with conspiracies, was exposed on every front. Meanwhile, Yemen’s sincere stance on the issues of the nation was revealed, despite the suffering it endures as a result of the Saudi aggression and blockade.

The statement indicated that the Saudi regime has repeatedly claimed that the roadmap is ready. It is therefore required to sign it immediately and implement it without delay, procrastination, or shifting the blame for non-implementation onto the other party, whose interest lies in implementation, not in procrastination.

He pointed out that the Saudi regime’s claim of supporting the roadmap was refuted by its displeasure at the return of Yemeni citizens stranded abroad to Sana’a International Airport. He emphasized that the Al Saud regime is behind the continued blockade of Yemen’s airports and seaports, the obstruction of salary payments as stipulated in the roadmap, and the economic and humanitarian suffering endured by the Yemeni people.

The statement continued, “The Saudi regime is not a neutral party to determine who is committed and who is not. It is the instigator of the aggression, the one who declared and adopted the war, the sponsor of all hostile activities, including the blockade and aggression, the occupier of vast swathes of Yemen, and the one who distributes roles among its mercenaries. Before all this, it launched over a quarter of a million airstrikes on every governorate, city, and village across the country, resulting in the martyrdom of tens of thousands and the wounding of hundreds of thousands of Yemeni men, women, and children, and the destruction of infrastructure, civilian property, and the country’s resources.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the Saudi aggression has spared nothing related to life, not even cemeteries, in addition to the hundreds of thousands of civilians killed as a result of the indirect effects of the aggression and the 11-year-long blockade imposed on Yemen.

The statement refuted the Saudi regime’s claim of defending Yemen’s sovereignty, asserting that it is a claim made by someone consumed by arrogance who can no longer distinguish between defending sovereignty and violating it. The regime must understand that it is only concerned with itself and its kingdom, and is not a guardian of other nations, nor is it concerned with defending them while it is the one attacking them.

The statement continued, “It is strange that the Saudi regime allows itself to consider the return of Yemeni citizens stranded abroad and the travel of patients as a violation of Yemen’s sovereignty or a threat to the Kingdom’s security. Such a statement can only come from a regime that has completely lost its mind and is now required to exercise reason and rationality so that solutions can be reached that guarantee the security and sovereignty of all parties without infringing upon the rights of others.”

The statement added, “The Saudi regime’s claims regarding the events in the Red Sea, during the support provided to the Palestinian people to stop the genocide in Gaza, prove once again that this regime is a Zionist tool, operating under American patronage and serving the Israeli enemy entity.”

The statement pointed out that the Yemeni people, despite the imposed siege and the immense suffering inflicted upon them by the Saudi regime, have prioritized the Palestinian cause over their own, acting in support of the most sacred cause of the Islamic nation: the Palestinian cause. Humanity, with the exception of the Americans and Israelis, has unanimously acknowledged the unprecedented injustice suffered by the Palestinian people.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs addressed a message to all countries in the region and those concerned with its stability, stating that Yemen—its leadership, government, army, and people—demands nothing more than its freedom and independence, and an end to the misery, deprivation, and suffering caused by the oppressive and criminal Al Saud regime.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ second message emphasized that any action taken by the criminal Saudi regime will cast a negative shadow on the already volatile stability of the region and will have disastrous consequences for the global economy.

The ministry called on the Saudi regime to learn from the lessons of more than a decade of aggression and blockade, which have only resulted in its failure and the collapse of its bets, and its crimes against the Yemeni people, which will not be forgotten. It urged the regime to realize that it is committing a grave error against Yemen, both in the north and the south, through repression, threats of bombing and aggression, and the imposition of dictates that are inconsistent with right, reason, law, and good neighborliness.
