Foreign Ministry: The Yemeni people have made their decision to end the aggression and break the siege, and they will not back down no matter the cost.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirmed that the Yemeni people, with all its institutions, have made their decision to end the aggression, break the siege and the hand of the aggressor, and will not back down from that no matter what the cost.

This came in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, commenting on the statement of the Saudi enemy and its attempt to mislead public opinion by distorting the facts and falsifying the truth, stressing that the reactivation of Sana’a International Airport is a sovereign right of Yemen, and Sana’a is proceeding with this without permission from anyone.

The statement said, “We in Yemen are still in the early stages of breaking the siege and ending the suffering with the help of God Almighty. The oppressive Saudi regime must realize that there are still many stages to come that will restore to our dear and honorable people their stolen rights and end the state of misery and suffering. The statement of the official spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces is clear, explicit, and serious in this regard.”

He added, “The head of the Saudi regime should turn his attention to the oil fields, Aramco, Yanbu and the rest of the ports, as well as to the stock market, Vision 2030 and other projects, so that he may come to his senses and realize the magnitude of the disaster that will befall him if he commits any folly.”

The statement continued, “The Saudi enemy’s claim that we rejected the roadmap that was agreed upon between us and them under the auspices of our brothers in the Sultanate of Oman is completely false. We have repeatedly confirmed our agreement to it on several occasions, and what the Saudi regime claims about our rejection is baseless.”

He continued, “The Saudi enemy was lying in wait during the Battle of the Flood, betting on Israeli and American aggression against Yemen first, and then betting on American and Israeli aggression against Iran second, believing that this would help it evade the peace obligations it must fulfill as a result of its aggression against our country, and that this could be an opportunity for it to reimpose its guardianship over Yemen more, which did not happen thanks to God’s grace and favor.” He pointed out that what happened was the opposite, as the ranks were distinguished and the Saudi regime, full of conspiracies, was exposed on any front, while Yemen’s sincere position with the issues of the nation was revealed, despite what it suffers from the legacy of Saudi aggression and siege.

The statement indicated that the Saudi regime has long claimed that the roadmap is ready, and it is required to quickly sign it and implement it immediately without delay, procrastination, or shifting responsibility for non-implementation onto the other party, whose interest lies in implementation, not in procrastination.

He pointed out that the Saudi regime’s claim that it is in favor of the roadmap has fallen apart because of its annoyance at the return of Yemeni citizens stranded abroad to Sana’a International Airport, stressing that the Al Saud regime is behind the continued blockade of Yemen at airports and ports and the obstruction of salary payments according to the roadmap, and that it is behind the economic and humanitarian suffering that the Yemeni people are experiencing.

The statement said, “The Saudi regime is not a neutral party to determine who is committed and who is not. It is the head of the aggression, the one who declared and adopted the war, the one who sponsors all hostile activities, from siege and aggression, and occupies large parts of Yemen, and distributes roles among its mercenaries. Before all this, it is the one that launched more than a quarter of a million air raids on every governorate, city, and village throughout the country, causing the martyrdom of tens of thousands and the wounding of hundreds of thousands of Yemeni men, women, and children, and the destruction of infrastructure, all civilian objects, and the country’s resources.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the Saudi aggression spared nothing related to aspects of life, and even cemeteries were not spared from its aggression, in addition to the martyrdom of hundreds of thousands of citizens as a result of the indirect effects of the aggression and the blockade imposed on Yemen for 11 years.

The statement refuted the Saudi regime’s claim regarding the defense of Yemen’s sovereignty, saying that it is a claim made by someone who is arrogant and no longer distinguishes between defending sovereignty and violating it. He should know that he is concerned with himself and
