Islah Party militias loyal to Hadi’s forces were forced to retreat to al-Naqba area in Shabwa province after reaching the outskirts of Ahwar city in Abyan province and imposing a siege on the city.

Sources reported that military cars belonging to Islah militias left Ahwar two days after imposing a siege on it, and were seen heading to Shabwa province, following Emirati threats to bomb their troops if they tried to storm the city.

The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias stormed a political event organized by the Saudi-backed Islah party in Mukalla city of Hadramout province, sources said.

The sources said that the event was authorized by the local authorities run by the Saudi-backed exiled Hadi’s government in the province.

Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Isalh party backed by Saudi Arabia arrested 124 citizens in a humiliating and illegal manner in Shabwah province, according to a human rights activist.

The activist Ahmed al-Haqel said that the most prominent violations committed by the Islah militants were arbitrary arrests, killing and looting operations against the citizens.

Saudi-backed Islah party waged an arresting campaign against the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council(STC) militias in Yemen’s southern province Shabwah province, sources said.

The sources affirmed that Mohammed Ali Nasser al-Qumishi, a member of the STC, was arrested by the Islah militants in al-Radhmah security checkpoint in Haban district.

The Saudi-backed Islah party militants raided and closed a private hospital in Taiz city. AL-Safwah hospital was closed under a pretext of its refusal to receive the wounded of the party. The hospital is blackmailed constantly by leaders of the party deploying in the city.

In March 2015, the US -backed –Saudi-led coalition started  a war against Yemen with the declared aim of crushing the Houthi Ansarullah movement, who had taken over from the staunch Riyadh ally and fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, while also seeking to secure the Saudi border with its southern neighbor. Three years and over 600,000 dead and injured Yemeni people and  prevented the patients from travelling abroad for treatment and blocked the entry of medicine into the war-torn country, the war has yielded little to that effect.

Despite the coalition claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi bombers are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.

More than 2,200 others have died of cholera, and the crisis has triggered what the United Nations has described as the world’s worst humanitarian disaster.
