In a besieged enclave enduring more than two years of an ongoing Zionist war of extermination, the chapters of massacres and systematic killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza continue, despite more than two months having passed since the ceasefire agreement. The occupying entity continues to treat the truce as a political cover to persist in its crimes—targeting shelters, schools, and homes, and deepening the humanitarian and health catastrophe—amid shameful international silence and overt U.S. complicity.

A Heavy Toll of Genocide… Numbers Reveal the Scale of the Crime

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Saturday that the death toll from the Zionist aggression has risen to 70,925 martyrs and 171,185 injured since October 7, 2023—preliminary figures that reflect the scale of the ongoing genocide.

The ministry explained that hospitals across the Strip received 13 martyrs over the past 48 hours—six newly killed and seven recovered from under the rubble—in addition to 20 injuries. A large number of victims remain trapped beneath debris and on roads, due to the enemy’s deliberate obstruction of ambulance and civil defense teams.

Since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 401 martyrs have been killed and 1,108 citizens injured, with 641 bodies recovered—clear evidence that the Zionist killing machine has never ceased.

New Massacre at a Shelter… Al-Tuffah School Directly Targeted by Zionist Artillery

In a new crime added to the record of massacres, six Palestinians—most of them children—were killed, and others wounded, after Zionist artillery shelled a school sheltering displaced people in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City.

Local sources reported that the shelling struck the second floor of the school while a large number of displaced people were present, coinciding with a wedding ceremony, which increased the number of victims. Enemy forces prevented ambulance and civil defense teams from reaching the site and opened heavy fire around the school.

Civil defense teams confirmed the recovery of five martyrs and wounded from inside the school after UN coordination, noting that the majority of the martyrs were children, in a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.

Daily Violations and Continued Attacks Across the Strip

Alongside the Al-Tuffah massacre, the enemy army continued its field violations. Four civilians, including a woman, were killed in airstrikes on Bani Suheila east of Khan Younis. Enemy vehicles opened fire west of Rafah, while warplanes carried out raids alongside artillery shelling on eastern areas of Khan Younis and Jabalia. Occupation naval boats also fired into the waters off Khan Younis.

Resistance Holds the Occupation Accountable: War Crime and Blatant Breach of the Agreement

Hamas affirmed that targeting a school sheltering displaced people constitutes a brutal war crime and a renewed, flagrant breach of the ceasefire agreement, noting that more than 400 martyrs have fallen since the agreement was announced, amid troubling international impotence.

The movement stressed that blocking ambulances and obstructing rescue efforts amounts to a compound crime, calling on mediators and the U.S. administration to assume their responsibilities and halt attempts by the government of war criminal Netanyahu to renege on the agreement.

For their part, the Palestinian Resistance Committees stated that what occurred in Al-Tuffah is a new war crime committed with direct U.S. support, urging the peoples of the region and the free world to take urgent action to stop the aggression and the siege.

Human Rights Warnings: Ceasefire at Risk of Collapse

The Palestinian Center for Human Rights condemned the shelling of a school sheltering displaced people near Al-Durra Hospital, warning of the potential collapse of the ceasefire agreement due to the enemy’s conduct on the ground, and calling for an international investigation and accountability before the International Criminal Court.

Amid the humanitarian tragedy, the Ministry of Health announced the death of an infant due to extreme cold, raising the number of weather-related deaths to 13, as the entry of shelter and heating materials continues to be blocked.
