Lebanon: Israeli Attacks on Several Towns in the South
Israeli occupation aircraft carried out, on Friday, a series of attacks targeting multiple areas in southern Lebanon.
Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in the south reported that Israeli forces launched a number of airstrikes targeting the al-Louayzeh highlands in the Jezzine District of the Southern Governorate.
In the same governorate, Israeli warplanes also struck the Tabna area in the Sidon District.
Israeli aircraft further targeted the outskirts of the town of Ansar and the Wadi Zefta area in the Nabatieh District, within Nabatieh Governorate in the south of the country.
Earlier today, an Israeli drone targeted an excavator in the border town of Aita al-Shaab, adjacent to occupied Palestine.
These attacks come as part of Israel’s ongoing violations of the declaration on the cessation of hostilities, issued under U.S. and French presidential sponsorship on 27 November 2024, as well as UN Security Council Resolution 1701 (2006) and Lebanese sovereignty.
