Al-Farah: The U.S. “Peace Council” Is a Tool for Reproducing Zionist-American Hegemony
Mohammed Al-Farah, a member of the Political Bureau of Ansar Allah, revealed the hidden motives behind the establishment of what U.S. President Trump calls the “Peace Council,” affirming that it primarily targets the Palestinian cause and seeks to eliminate resistance leaders.
This came during a televised interview in which Al-Farah presented an in-depth analytical reading on the anniversary of the martyrdom of President Saleh Ali Al-Sammad, an occasion that coincides with a sensitive and pivotal phase at the regional level, amid escalating threats and intimidation aimed at emptying the Palestinian cause of its substance and reproducing Western dominance in the region through local and Arab instruments.

He argued that the so-called “Peace Council,” promoted under the leadership of “the criminal Trump,” represents an attempt to domesticate the region and subject it to American decisions, rearranging the political landscape to serve the Israeli enemy’s project. He stressed that the council lacks any genuine peace content and is merely a theatrical cover to legitimize new schemes, with its real objective being the reproduction of a so-called “New Middle East” under Zionist-American hegemony, while neutralizing any resistance force.
Emptying the Palestinian Cause
Regarding attempts to hollow out the Palestinian cause, Al-Farah explained that the objective of “Trump’s Council” is to re-establish American “guardianship” over the region as a whole. He said it functions as a tool to subjugate governments and turn them into executive instruments for colonial projects, relying on financial power and political pressure to force some parties into accepting conditions no free people would ever accept.
He warned that the council seeks to strip the Palestinian cause of its substance by presenting superficial solutions and new normalization projects, aiming to marginalize the Palestinian issue and remove it from the priorities of nations, while Israeli aggression against Gaza continues on a daily basis. He stressed that such schemes succeed only through declining popular awareness, and that the persistence of resistance will remains the sole factor preventing liquidation plans.

Al-Farah stated that the martyrdom of Al-Sammad symbolizes the cause of an entire nation facing an organized aggression aimed at erasing identity and willpower. He emphasized that the steadfastness embodied by the martyr proves the Yemeni people’s capacity to confront global arrogance regardless of its power.
He said that commemorating Al-Sammad reminds Yemenis that the aggression has gone beyond military war into a war of annihilation against identity itself, stressing that the assassination of President Al-Sammad was a deliberate decision within a strategy aimed at targeting leaders and symbols capable of unifying ranks and instilling resistance. He described Al-Sammad as a model leader who dissolved himself into the national project, embodying unity and national consensus during the most difficult phases of the aggression.
Al-Farah affirmed that Al-Sammad was a “symbol of unity” at a time of the most severe national trial, noting that despite siege, pressure, and terrorism, he succeeded in forging unprecedented national consensus—making him an existential threat to the aggressors, who therefore targeted him directly to send a message that any resistance stance would be punished.
Saudi Arabia and the UAE: Executive Tools
