Albanese: World unaware of scale of genocidal atrocities committed by Israel in Gaza
The UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967, Francesca Albanese, stated on Monday that the world is unaware of the scale of the genocidal atrocities committed by Israel against Palestinian families in Gaza.
In a post on X platform, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Albanese added, “I am not sure the world is aware of the scale of these atrocities… Israel has wiped out 2,700 families in Gaza.”
She continued, stating that this genocide has left “more than 6,000 people, entire generations, as sole survivors.”
She emphasized that “this is not a war, but a genocide, carried out as a result of a deliberate policy with full awareness of its consequences.”
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli enemy, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement, ignoring international appeals and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop it.
