UN Rapporteur: Gaza genocide collective crime

UN Special Rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, said the genocide in the Gaza Strip constitutes a collective crime.

In a post on “X,” she noted that this was clearly stated in her September 2025 report to the United Nations, stressing that states must hold themselves accountable for their actions and change course.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation army, backed by the US and Europe, has carried out genocide, siege, and starvation in Gaza, leaving 71,769 Palestinians killed and 171,483 injured, in a non-final toll.
