Ayatollah Khamenei: The Will of the Iranian People Creates Glory and Strengthens the Islamic Republic

The Iranian people renewed their pledge to the Islamic Revolution in the largest mass rally of its kind, commemorating the 47th anniversary of the revolution’s victory. They affirmed to the world that Iran is strong and its unity is unwavering, and that the enemies’ attempts to subjugate the people will fail.

In this context, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, emphasized that the widespread participation of the Iranian people in the February 11th (22nd of Bahman) rallies is a source of pride, dignity, and additional strength for the Islamic Republic. He noted that this participation thwarted the plans of the enemies who sought to subjugate the Iranian people through statements, intelligence schemes, and political machinations.

In a televised message, Ayatollah Khamenei stated that the Iranian people achieved a great accomplishment that raised Iran’s head high, renewed their support for the system, and strengthened the Islamic Republic’s power and complete independence. He affirmed that this achievement was by divine grace and that God will reward the people with even greater glory, strength, and independence.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution emphasized that the massive public turnout in the streets, with the people chanting unified slogans and a single message, embodied national unity and revealed Iran’s true identity to its enemies. He considered this participation a precious national asset that must be preserved, as it forms the basis of internal strength and cohesion, enabling the successful confrontation of challenges.

Ayatollah Khamenei added that he extends his warmest greetings to all the people of Iran who participated in these million-strong marches in various cities, praising the national harmony demonstrated by the masses and the high morale that renewed their support for the Revolution and the Islamic Republic.

He concluded by saying that the fruits of this popular achievement will be reflected in the increased strength of the country, the strengthening of its position and independence, and the thwarting of any foreign plots to weaken the Islamic Republic. He stressed that the people have proven their presence on the scene and imposed their true identity on the enemies, while calling on everyone to maintain this harmony and national unity.
