Two Palestinians injured by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire in Al-Amari Camp
Two young Palestinian men were injured by live bullets fired by Israeli occupation forces on Saturday evening in Al-Amari refugee camp, southwest of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.
According to the Sanad News Agency, local sources reported that Israeli infantry forces stormed neighborhoods in Al-Amari camp, triggering clashes with local youths. During the confrontations, soldiers fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters.
For its part, the Palestine Red Crescent Society stated that its medical teams in Ramallah treated two young men wounded by live fire, one of them shot in the thigh, during the raid on the camp.
The Red Crescent added that both injured individuals were transferred to hospitals in Ramallah to complete their medical treatment.
