European Union announces its desire to participate in Gaza settlement process

Brussels – The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, announced that the EU seeks to be part of the peace process related to the Gaza Strip.

In a press statement on Monday, Kallas affirmed that the EU Border Assistance Mission in Rafah and the European Union Police Mission in the Palestinian Territories (EUPOL COPPS) could play a significant role in any political or security track concerning the Gaza Strip.
