Palestinians injured during Israeli incursions into Al-Dhahiriya & Tubas; young man arrested in Anata
Several Palestinian civilians were injured by rubber bullets Tuesday evening during an incursion by Israeli forces into the town of Al-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank.
The official Palestinian News Agency quoted security sources confirming that Israeli forces stormed Al-Dhahiriya, firing live and rubber bullets, injuring civilians in their feet with rubber bullets.
In a related development, Israeli forces also raided the city of Tubas in the West Bank Tuesday evening. Local sources reported that the incursion sparked clashes, during which Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces arrested a Palestinian youth Tuesday evening during a raid in the town of Anata, northeast of occupied Quds. Local sources confirmed that the forces stormed the town and spread across several neighborhoods before detaining a young man whose identity was not yet known.
Sources added that the raid involved a heavy deployment of Israeli army vehicles on the main streets, causing heightened tension throughout the town.
