Massive Rallies in Taiz Affirm Solidarity with the Iranian People Against the Enemies of the Nation
Taiz Governorate witnessed massive rallies today, expressing full solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran in the face of American and Israeli aggression.
Participants in the rallies raised banners condemning American and Israeli violations against the countries and peoples of the region, affirming the steadfastness of the Yemeni position in supporting the causes of the Islamic nation and rejecting all forms of aggression and targeting.
The crowds in the rallies, which took place in the districts of Al-Ta’iziyah, Maqbanah, Khadir, Shar’ab Al-Salam, Mawiyah, Shar’ab Al-Rawnah, Salah, Hayfan, Al-Mawasit, Al-Salw, Sabir Al-Mawadim, Al-Masrakh, Jabal Habashi, and Sami’, and were attended by local, military, and security leaders, as well as social figures, affirmed that their participation today stemmed from a religious and moral duty to confront the enemies’ plans to impose what they call “Greater Israel.”
The people of Taiz condemned the heinous crime perpetrated by the enemy in targeting the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, the martyred Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, declaring their full readiness to confront any developments that the current situation may bring.
A statement issued by the Taiz marches expressed their deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the Iranian people and the entire Muslim Ummah on the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was a symbol of steadfastness in upholding the truth. He proved the sincerity of his positions with his blood, never surrendering to the enemies, never compromising, and never bowing to the world’s tyrants. Rather, he remained steadfast and dignified until he met his Lord with a clear countenance and an exalted status.
The statement added, “While we condemn this heinous crime, we are confident in the strength and resilience of the dear Iranian people and the Islamic system, which demonstrated from the very first moment of this crime that it possesses the highest levels of competence and cohesive performance. This was evident in the military response, which exceeded expectations and surpassed all limits with strength and steadfastness, without any confusion, a clear proof that the people’s system in Iran is too strong and resilient for the enemies to break.”
The statement condemned in the strongest terms this brutal and blatant aggression against the brotherly Muslim people of Iran, considering it an attack on the entire Muslim nation, and declaring that standing against and repelling it is a duty incumbent upon all members of the nation.
It pointed out that the aim of this aggression—as declared by the criminal leaders of the enemy—is to change the face of the region and impose what they call “Greater Israel” by eliminating the Islamic Republic of Iran and the resistance forces in the region, and then destroying the remaining countries and armies of the region.
The statement praised the strength, speed, effectiveness, and scale of the Iranian response, emphasizing that it confounded the enemy’s calculations and exceeded their expectations, proving that free peoples, with their reliance on God, are capable of building their capabilities and confronting their enemies, no matter how great their resources.
It affirmed that the peoples of the region consider the American presence and bases in the region a source of evil and a cause of calamity, serving the Zionist enemy and threatening their security and safety. The purpose of this presence is perfectly clear: to violate the sovereignty of the region’s countries and enable the Zionist enemy to establish what they call “Greater Israel” on the corpses and remains of children and women.
He added, “Therefore, it is the natural right of our brothers in the Islamic Republic of Iran to target and destroy those bases. This does not constitute any aggression against those countries; rather, it is in the interest of the peoples of our region, first and foremost the peoples of those countries where the bases are located, as well as the oppressed Palestinian people and all the peoples of our region.”
The statement called on everyone to be vigilant and aware of the plots and dangers that are no longer confined to closed rooms. It emphasized that there is no option but to confront the enemies’ schemes with unwavering resolve and steadfastness, and that the ultimate victory belongs to the righteous who trust in God’s support.
