Details of the Launch of Phase 9 of “True Promise 4” Against US and Israeli Targets
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced Sunday evening the execution of a series of military operations against US and Israeli targets in the region, as part of the ninth phase of Operation “True Promise 4.”
A statement issued by the IRGC’s Public Relations Office explained that a US Navy support and refueling vessel was attacked by drones and missiles approximately 700 kilometers from the port of Chabahar, rendering it inoperable.
The statement added that the IRGC’s advanced anti-ship missile systems continue to pursue the US fleet in the region’s waters, emphasizing that the operation also targets Israeli sites.
It indicated that its forces completely destroyed a THAAD radar belonging to Israel’s missile defense network in the Ruwais area of the UAE.
These developments come amid escalating regional tensions following the assassination of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, with Tehran vowing a broad response to the US and Israeli strikes, while the escalation raises fears of a wider military confrontation in the Gulf and the Middle East.
