Ansar Allah Media Office: Targeting Journalists is a War Crime and a Flagrant Violation of International Law

The Ansar Allah Media Office expressed its condolences on the martyrdom of journalist Ali Shuaib, journalist Fatima Fatouni, and cameraman Muhammad Fatouni, all affiliated with Al-Manar and Al-Mayadeen channels, as a result of a brutal Zionist aggression. They were performing their duty in the media field during the nation’s decisive battle against the world’s greatest criminals: America and the Zionist entity.

In a statement, the office considered the targeting of journalists while carrying out their noble mission of conveying the truth a war crime and a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms. It is a desperate attempt to conceal the truth and hide the crimes of the Zionist and American enemy from global public opinion. This is a fundamental Zionist objective that has been consistently pursued through the systematic targeting of media institutions and figures, whether in Palestine, particularly the Gaza Strip, or in Lebanon, Iran, and Yemen.

The statement affirmed that these crimes will in no way weaken the resistance media’s stance in exposing the crimes of American-Israeli aggression against the peoples of the Islamic nation. On the contrary, it will serve as an additional incentive to redouble efforts and intensify activity across all resistance media outlets in confronting the evil Zionist project, exposing its crimes, and strengthening media solidarity against this criminal entity.

The Ansar Allah Media Authority reiterated the importance of mobilizing efforts and strengthening media work to counter the Zionist narrative and confront it by all means, considering it a field of jihad in the battle.

It called upon free peoples, human rights organizations, and media bodies to condemn these crimes against journalists, affirming its absolute solidarity with the families of Al-Manar and Al-Mayadeen.
