Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters: Targeting Civilians is a Red Line

The spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Ebrahim Zolfaghari, warned that if attacks on civilian areas are repeated, “our retaliatory response will be stronger and more extensive.”

Zolfaghari reiterated that Iran declared from the beginning of the war against it that any attack on civilian targets would be met with a doubled response against the enemy’s interests.

Early this morning, Monday, the US-Israeli aggression committed new massacres against civilians in Iran, targeting residential areas, universities, and energy infrastructure in the cities of Tehran and Qom.

A security official in the capital confirmed the martyrdom of 13 people, in a preliminary toll, following the targeting of two residential buildings in the Baharestan area southwest of Tehran, noting that rescue operations are still underway to save those trapped under the rubble.

Meanwhile, a security official in the city of Qom reported the martyrdom of five civilians and the injury of others as a result of an attack that targeted a populated residential area early this morning.

Iran continues to retaliate against the US-Israeli aggression on its territory, targeting US military bases in the region and the occupying entity in waves of attacks as part of Operation “True Promise 4.”

This morning, Iranian cluster munitions struck 20 locations in central occupied Palestine, particularly in Tel Aviv, where a building was directly hit.

Israeli Channel 12 reported two injuries from the latest wave of Iranian missile strikes in central Israel, describing their condition as “serious.”
