Abu Ubaida: Resistance Strikes Are an Extension of the Al-Aqsa Flood, and We Call on Our People to Carry Out Qualitative Operations in Defense of Al-Aqsa and the Prisoners
The spokesman for the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaida, stated that the region is facing “armed military aggression and blatant thuggery that tears apart the UN Charter with missiles and rockets,” emphasizing that “the enemy is expanding its aggression and spreading destruction throughout the region.”
He added that “the enemy’s brutality has not been satiated by the massacres in Gaza, the bombing of Lebanon and Yemen, and the targeting of Qatar,” noting that the aggression against Lebanon “was preceded by violations over a period of 15 months.”
He pointed out that “the world sees the temporary entity today only as a source of tension that thrives on fueling wars,” considering that “the world with its double standards only raises its voice when demanding further concessions from the Palestinians,” and that it “ignores the transformation of what is called the Yellow Line into a death trap for innocents.”
He affirmed that “the decision to pass a law to execute Palestinian prisoners is a stain on the conscience of all those who are complicit and silent,” adding that “even Goliath, despite his armor, his allies, and his armies, is vulnerable to defeat once his armor is removed.”
He pointed out that “what the enemy is trying to impose on the Palestinian resistance today through our mediating brothers is extremely dangerous,” explaining that “the Palestinian side has fulfilled its obligations with complete honesty and responsibility, respecting the mediators’ efforts and removing any pretext from the occupation.”
He stressed that “our brothers are required to pressure the entity to complete its commitment to the first phase before discussing the second phase,” emphasizing that “the enemy is the one obstructing the agreement, and the biased American administration must be held accountable.”
He clarified that “any harm to Al-Aqsa Mosque and the prisoners will not go unpunished, no matter the cost to our people,” calling on “our people in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the occupied territories to march towards Al-Aqsa Mosque.” He also called on “the masses of the nation and the world to demonstrate in defense of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinian prisoners.”
He continued, saying, “The enemy’s heinous crimes against our brothers in Iran, such as the Minab school massacre, remind the world of the genocidal crimes in Gaza,” and declared, “We mourn the righteous martyrs of Iran and its great leaders, foremost among them Ali Khamenei.”
He pointed out that “the powerful strikes carried out by the Revolutionary Guard are a response to the Zionist-American aggression against Iran,” considering that “the strikes of the mujahideen of Iran, Lebanon, and Yemen are an extension of the Al-Aqsa flood, the sparks of which were ignited by Gaza.”
He also affirmed that “the barbaric aggression against Lebanon is a fully-fledged crime within the context of the aggression against our nation and its vital forces,” declaring “our support for Lebanon, its people, and its resistance,” and emphasizing “confidence in the resolve and strength of Hezbollah fighters, who have inflicted heavy and humiliating losses on the Zionist enemy.”
He reiterated his call to “the heroes of the Lebanese resistance to make the engagement with the enemy a real opportunity to capture Zionist soldiers,” adding that “the frenzied Zionist campaigns against the countries and peoples of our nation are a harbinger of the enemy’s imminent collapse and downfall.” He affirmed that “this aggression will not achieve its goals, and the illusion of normalization they seek is doomed to failure,” emphasizing that “the region will only be governed by its own people, and its resources and wealth are their sole and inherent right,” and that “Greater Israel will only exist in the delusions of the intruders.”
He concluded by warning against “fragmentation and preoccupation with side battles,” calling for “the execution of qualitative operations in defense of the prisoners,” and asserting that those who seek “to impose an ideology from overseas on our nation do not understand its heritage, civilization, and strength.”
