Iran: Draft Law to Ban Israeli Ships from the Strait of Hormuz

The First Deputy Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Ali Nikzad, announced on Saturday that Tehran has drafted a bill to prevent Israeli enemy ships from crossing the Strait of Hormuz at any time, and to prohibit ships from hostile countries from passing through unless they pay war reparations.

According to the Iranian news channel Al-Alam, Nikzad confirmed that the bill would allow other ships to pass through after obtaining permission and approval from Tehran.

He explained that the bill for managing the strait would be adopted in accordance with international law and the rights of neighboring countries.

On February 28, the United States and Israel launched a new aggression against Iran that lasted 40 days, resulting in the deaths of thousands of civilians and targeting schools, hospitals, mosques, and other infrastructure belonging to the Iranian people.

In response to the aggression, Iran launched Operation True Promise 4 against Israel and US bases in the region.
