From Jerusalem to Gaza: Zionist escalation exacerbates the catastrophe
The Zionist escalation against the Palestinian people in Gaza and occupied Jerusalem continues, in a scene that reflects the enemy’s insistence on expanding the circle of aggression and imposing new realities by force, coinciding with the worsening humanitarian catastrophe and the collapse of health and living conditions inside the Gaza Strip, amid international silence and UN inability to stop the ongoing crimes.
A worsening humanitarian catastrophe
In this context, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) warned of the increasing health risks threatening the residents of the Gaza Strip as a result of the ongoing displacement, overcrowding of tents, lack of clean water, and disruption of sanitation systems and health services.
The agency confirmed that living conditions had reached dangerous levels, noting that children were being attacked by rats inside the tents, amid a deteriorating health environment and an increasing spread of skin diseases and epidemics, while the entry of medical supplies, tents and insecticides continued to be prohibited.
This comes at a time when the enemy forces continue to impose the siege and prevent the entry of basic materials, which exacerbates the suffering of the population and pushes the sector towards further humanitarian and health collapse.
The numbers of victims of genocide are rising.
In a development reflecting the continuation of genocide crimes, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the toll of the Zionist aggression has risen to 72,628 martyrs and 172,520 wounded since October 7, 2023.
The ministry explained that hospitals received a new number of martyrs and wounded during the past hours, while large numbers of martyrs are still under the rubble and in the streets, as a result of the inability of ambulance and civil defense crews to reach them due to the continuous bombing and lack of resources.
She also confirmed that the shortage of medicines and medical supplies has reached unprecedented levels, with stocks of dozens of pharmaceutical and laboratory items reaching “zero”, which threatens the lives of thousands of patients, especially cancer, kidney and chronic disease patients.
systematic targeting
In the context of the ongoing crimes against Palestinian leaders and their families, Hamas confirmed that targeting Azzam al-Hayya, the son of the movement’s leader in Gaza, Dr. Khalil al-Hayya, represents an extension of the Zionist policy of terrorism and attempts to pressure the resistance by targeting civilians and the families of leaders.
The movement stressed that assassination crimes will not succeed in breaking the will of the Palestinian people or affecting the positions of the resistance, stressing that the blood of the martyrs will increase the Palestinians’ adherence to their rights and national principles.
For his part, Dr. Khalil al-Hayya explained that the Israeli enemy is trying to impose political realities by force through military escalation and assassinations, stressing that the Palestinian people will not back down from their rights despite the continued aggression and siege.
Continuous escalation
In an analysis of the field and political situation, Taysir Muhaysin, advisor to the Government Media Office in Gaza, confirmed that the Israeli enemy is seeking to confuse matters and complicate the negotiation process by escalating attacks against civilians and infrastructure.
He pointed out that the enemy is trying to impose new equations on the ground by continuing the aggression and violating the truce agreements, with the aim of extracting political and military gains that it has not succeeded in achieving on the ground.
He explained that the last few months have witnessed a significant escalation in the scale of crimes and attacks, reflecting the enemy government’s insistence on continuing its policy of killing, starvation, and siege without regard for international laws or the worsening humanitarian catastrophe in the sector.
Incursions into Al-Aqsa continue
In occupied Jerusalem, Zionist settlers continued their incursions into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of enemy forces, as dozens of settlers led by the extremist Yehuda Glick stormed the mosque’s courtyards and performed provocative Talmudic rituals.
The enemy forces also held military activities in the vicinity of the Western Wall adjacent to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, as part of the ongoing escalation against Islamic holy sites and attempts to impose a new Judaizing reality in the occupied city.
Gaza faces aggression
The rapid developments in Gaza and Jerusalem reflect the continuation of the Zionist approach based on escalation, siege, and targeting of civilians and holy sites, in an attempt to impose facts on the
