From Gaza to Al-Aqsa: Ongoing crimes and a worsening tragedy
From besieged Gaza to occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank, the crimes of the Zionist enemy continue at various levels, amid escalating violations against Palestinian civilians and holy sites, and the worsening humanitarian tragedy experienced by the Palestinian people under the continued aggression and siege.
While the number of martyrs and wounded rises in the Gaza Strip, the health and humanitarian crisis deepens as a result of the continued targeting and lack of basic resources, at a time when attacks on the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque are accelerating and settlement activities are expanding in the West Bank, within a policy aimed at imposing new realities on the ground and entrenching the occupation.
Rising toll
The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the death toll from the Zionist aggression has risen to 72,941 martyrs and 172,967 injuries since October 7, 2023, while the enemy forces continue their bombing, shooting and demolition of homes in various areas of the Strip.
A Zionist raid targeting the port of Gaza City today resulted in the martyrdom of two Palestinians and the injury of 25 others, indicating the continuation of attacks despite talk of ceasefire agreements.
On the verge of collapse
In parallel with the ongoing aggression, hospitals in Gaza are facing an unprecedented crisis that threatens their ability to continue providing medical services.
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital announced a decline in its medical services by more than 50 percent after one of the main generators broke down, warning of the shutdown of vital departments including intensive care, incubators, dialysis and operating rooms.
Health officials confirmed that the destruction of medical infrastructure and the prevention of the entry of equipment and spare parts have exacerbated the suffering of the health sector, which is facing enormous pressures in light of the increasing numbers of wounded and sick people.
Continuous raids
In occupied Jerusalem, hundreds of settlers continued to storm the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque under heavy protection from the Zionist enemy forces, where they carried out provocative tours and performed Talmudic rituals inside its courtyards.
Observers believe that the escalation of incursions reflects the enemy’s efforts to impose a new reality inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque, within plans aimed at changing the historical and legal status, amid warnings of serious repercussions for the stability of the city and the entire region.
Settlement expansion
In a parallel context, settlement activities continue in the occupied West Bank, where settlers have established a new settlement outpost near the town of Al-Auja, north of Jericho.
Hamas considered the move an extension of the annexation and settlement policy pursued by the enemy entity’s government, stressing that these projects aim to impose new realities on Palestinian land and entrench displacement and the seizure of more land.
Multiple escalation
Recent developments reveal that the enemy entity continues to implement a comprehensive escalation policy targeting the Palestinian people, land, and holy sites simultaneously, through continuing the war of extermination in Gaza, expanding settlements in the West Bank, and escalating violations against Al-Aqsa Mosque.
With the international community remaining silent and unable to stop these violations, the humanitarian suffering of the Palestinians is worsening, while warnings are increasing about serious repercussions that could affect the overall situation in the occupied territories and the entire region.
