Hezbollah praises the Iranian and Yemeni response: a message of loyalty, commitment, and deterrence in the face of Zionist aggression.
Hezbollah praised the missile response carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran with the support of the Ansar Allah movement in Yemen against the Zionist entity, considering that this step represents a clear message reflecting the depth of moral, political and field commitment towards Lebanon and the issues of the nation, in light of the continuation of Israeli aggression and its repeated attacks on Lebanese territory.
The party confirmed in a statement that the Iranian response, which coincided with the Yemeni support, came in the context of confronting the escalation of the Israeli enemy and the occupation’s continued violation of the ceasefire agreement, especially after the renewal of its attacks on the southern suburbs of Beirut and other Lebanese areas, noting that this operation carries strategic implications that go beyond the direct military dimension to confirm the unity of position among the forces of the resistance axis in confronting the Zionist project.
He explained that the joint Iranian and Yemeni response falls within the framework of coordinated action aimed at deterring the Zionist entity and putting an end to its policies of aggression and expansion pursued with American support. It also sends a clear message to the American administration that its continued provision of political and military cover for the occupation will only complicate the situation and thwart any efforts or understandings that do not include a comprehensive cessation of aggression on various fronts, especially the Lebanese front.
Hezbollah pointed out that the Islamic Republic has been keen, through various political and diplomatic channels, to emphasize that any agreement or understanding must include a comprehensive ceasefire, a halt to Israeli attacks on Lebanon, paving the way for the withdrawal of the occupation forces from the occupied Lebanese territories, the return of displaced persons to their areas, the release of prisoners, and the commencement of the reconstruction of what was destroyed by the aggression.
In a related context, the party stressed that the Iranian position reflects once again the reality of the role played by the Islamic Republic in supporting Lebanon and the rights of its people, stressing that Tehran has stood by Lebanon at various stages, and has provided political, material and moral support to the resistance and the Lebanese people in the face of the Israeli occupation and attacks.
He pointed out that this support was not linked to narrow calculations or immediate interests, but rather stemmed from firm principles and values based on supporting oppressed peoples and supporting liberation and independence causes, noting that Iran contributed to supporting the Lebanese resistance to liberate the land, and also had a prominent role in reconstruction efforts after successive Israeli wars and attacks.
The party stressed that Iran’s supportive stances towards Lebanon deserve appreciation and recognition, considering that any attempts to deny or disparage this role under external pressures and dictates do not serve the Lebanese national interest, but rather serve the interests of the Israeli occupation and its objectives.
Hezbollah rejected the false accusations made by some Lebanese official bodies regarding the Iranian role, stressing that these positions contradict the field and political realities, and ignore the efforts made by the Islamic Republic to stop the Israeli aggression and support the stability of Lebanon and preserve its sovereignty.
The party also criticized the positions and statements issued against Iran in parallel with the American and Israeli positions, considering that such positions represent a departure from diplomatic norms and an expression of a rejected political alignment that does not achieve any interest for Lebanon, but rather gives the occupation more moral and political support.
Hezbollah called on the Lebanese authorities to take advantage of the available opportunities to strengthen official relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran in a way that serves the common interests of the two countries, and to work on employing the available political and regional support in order to achieve Lebanese national goals.
He pointed out that the current regional changes and the political understandings and movements that have resulted from them provide an opportunity for Lebanon to strengthen its negotiating position in the face of the occupation, especially if it is based on elements of national strength, foremost among them the resistance, popular cohesion, and internal consensus on national principles.
The party stressed that achievin
