Iran: Israeli aggression against Dahiyeh shows US lacks will, ability to fulfill commitments

The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament stressed that the Zionists’ aggression against Dahiyeh in southern Beirut once again showed that the United States lacks both the will and the ability to fulfill its commitments, Fars news agency reported.

Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf wrote on his X social media account: “The Zionists’ aggression against Dahiyeh has once again demonstrated that the United States either lacks the will to implement its commitments or the ability to do so.”

He also wrote: “You cannot gain concessions by giving the regime a green light. The good cop–bad cop game has become outdated.”

Addressing the United States, Qalibaf noted: “If you do not have the will and the ability to fulfill your commitments, it is not possible to speak of continuing along this path.”

Earlier on Sunday, Israeli forces targeted the Ghobeiry neighbourhood in Beirut’s southern suburb, killing three people and injuring 15 others.
