The General Mobilization calls for a massive public gathering in Al-Sabeen Square at 8:30 PM to reject the Saudi aggression and support the armed forces.

The General Mobilization called on the masses of the Yemeni people to participate widely in the mass rally that will be held in Al-Sabeen Square in the capital Sana’a at 8:30 pm on Monday, to affirm the popular position rejecting the Saudi aggression against Sana’a International Airport, and in support of the armed forces and their options in deterring and defending the sovereignty of Yemen.

The General Mobilization explained, in a brief statement, that the call comes within the framework of the popular mobilization to confront the aggression and the recent escalation, stressing that the march will embody a unified popular position in condemning the targeting of Sana’a International Airport, and in support of the armed forces in performing their national duty, in addition to expressing thanks and appreciation for the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran in breaking the siege on Yemen.

This call comes as an extension of the ongoing popular movement in the capital, Sana’a, where Al-Sabeen Square hosted a massive public march on July 3rd to celebrate breaking the siege and to affirm the popular readiness to continue the battle for liberation and to seize legitimate rights.

The continued mass gatherings in Al-Sabeen Square confirm the extent of popular support for the choices of the revolutionary and political leadership, and support for the armed forces in confronting the aggression, reflecting the Yemeni people’s adherence to their rights and sovereignty, and their readiness to continue to stand firm and confront all attempts to undermine the independence and dignity of the homeland.
