The Leader: Jihad is the path to glory and breaking the power of tyranny… and the Saudi role serves the Zionist project and targets the nation.
The leader of the revolution, Mr. Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, affirmed that jihad in the cause of God represents the true path to dignity, freedom, and breaking the power of tyrants, warning against the Zionist-American scheme aimed at controlling the Islamic nation and enslaving its peoples, and pointing out that the Saudi role continues to serve American and Zionist projects by inciting strife and weakening the nation’s positions.
In his speech on the latest developments, the leader explained that jihad is a divine tradition established in heavenly messages, and that the abandonment by the oppressed of the responsibility of confrontation leads to the increase of tyranny and the expansion of the circle of injustice, while moving in the cause of God gives the nation true freedom and preserves its dignity and independence.
He pointed out that the Islamic nation is facing today the most dangerous projects of hegemony, explaining that Zionism relies, in addition to military aggression, on soft war aimed at corrupting man, stripping him of his values, and controlling him intellectually and culturally.
The leader affirmed that the United States and the Zionist entity represent the source of wars, strife, and crime in the region and the world, and that the “Greater Israel” project and the changing of the Middle East come within the framework of a declared plan to control the nation and plunder its resources, stressing that the enemies do not abide by any agreement, law, or international understandings.
He pointed out that the suffering of the nation is exacerbated by the destructive roles of some Arab and Islamic regimes that cooperate politically, financially, militarily and in the media with the enemies, foremost among them the Saudi regime, which works to serve the American-Zionist project, incite strife and weaken any collective position supporting the Palestinian cause.
The leader explained that the Yemeni people have suffered for nearly twelve years from the Saudi aggression, which was carried out under American supervision, with British partnership and Zionist support, and resulted in the commission of widespread crimes against civilians, the destruction of infrastructure, the imposition of a suffocating siege, the deprivation of Yemenis of their wealth, and the occupation of parts of their lands.
He pointed out that the Saudi role extended to the Palestinian arena, where it worked to obstruct any practical Arab or Islamic stance to support the Palestinian people, and prevented the adoption of effective steps to boycott the Israeli enemy, stressing that this stance provided cover for the continuation of genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip.
The leader stressed that the Saudi media played an incitement role against the Palestinian people and their fighters, contributed to justifying Zionist crimes, and also insulted the resistance forces in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran and Yemen, and provided a direct service to the Zionist project in the region.
He stressed that the nation needs to adhere to the option of jihad and awareness and confront the projects of hegemony, considering that this is the path that guarantees the protection of freedom and dignity and confronts the American and Zionist plans that target the peoples of the region and their holy sites.
