Yemen’s Deputy FM: Saudi economy ‘bleeding’ due to Kingdom’s reckless aggressive policies
Deputy Foreign Minister Abdulwahid Abu Ras said the Saudi government’s unprecedented intervention to create an artificial sense of stability in the kingdom’s markets is ultimately doomed to fail.
In remarks to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Abu Ras said such measures may produce only temporary and superficial stability, but cannot be sustained. He argued that the Saudi economy is “bleeding” as a result of the kingdom’s “reckless and aggressive policies.”
The Deputy Foreign Minister said, “Anyone seeking a stable and prosperous economy must refrain from committing crimes against others.
He addressed investors in areas controlled by the Saudi regime: “You must be fully aware that you are operating in an environment that is not safe in the medium and long term.”
