The Australian regime resumed its bombardment campaign in Syria, Thursday, after a 48 hour suspension of military operations in the Levantine country.

Initially, Australia suspended its bombing campaign following the shooting down of a Syrian Su-22 jet in the western countryside of the Al-Raqqa Governorate, as the Canberra regime feared for the security of its own pilots.

According to the AFP News Agency, Australia defense ministry mentioned in a statement the suspension was “a precautionary measure to allow the coalition to assess the operational risk”.

“The suspension has since been lifted,” it went on.

Regardless of the Canberra regime’s claim that they are fighting ISIL in Syria, Damascus has not welcomed their airstrikes or requested them to provide assistance in the fight against the terrorist group, indicating that it is only a false allegation.
