Massive Convoy of US Military Vehicles Heads to New Base in Northern Syria

A large convoy of U.S. military vehicles were documented making their way from Turkey to their new base in the predominately Kurdish town of Kobani in northern Aleppo.

Satellite imagery captured on Wednesday displayed several military vehicles on route to the newly constructed U.S. base in southern Kobani.

While the base is still finished, satellite imagery from April 11th indicated that the installation is almost complete after months of construction in northern Aleppo.

The Syrian government has repeatedly requested that the U.S. military pull out of Syria, as the latter has entered the country without Damascus’ approval.
