Daesh rebels suffer huge losses in northern Hama, 50+ killed

The rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham, Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham, and Jaysh Al-‘Izza have been inflicted with some of the heaviest losses during this month in the battle for northern Hama, a Syrian military source reported today.

According to the military source, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) killed over 50 Daesh rebels, including 5 field commanders during the past 48 hours in the northern countryside of Hama governorate.

The rebels have already posted several photos on their social media accounts commemorating their lost comrades in northern Hama; this list of dead militants included a number of child fighters that aided Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham on the battlefield.

The Daesh rebels continue struggling to make progress in northern Hama, the Syrian Arab Army is expected to wage a new attack to take the key town of Halfaya, which is located west of Taybat Al-Imam.
