Yemeni political sources and media outlets confirmed that a number of leaders of the Islah Party left the Saudi capital ,Riyadh, to the Sudanese capital of Khartoum and Turkey after  the Saudi authorities informed the Brotherhood leaders to coordinate with any country to stay there and leave the Saudi territory.

The Saudi government asked its most prominent ally, the Yemeni Islah Party, to leave  in a move that came as part of the Gulf crisis with Qatar.

Notably, Turkey and Sudan are governed by the Brotherhood party through the Turkish Justice and Development Party (AKP) and the Sudanese Congress Party. The two countries hosted the Brotherhood leaders from Egypt, Yemen and other Arab countries.
