One dead and 20 wounded in armed clashes in Aden southern Yemen

A suicide bomber was killed and 20 wounded Wednesday when gunmen attacked an armed group in southern Yemen.

Local sources in Aden said clashes broke out between armed men wearing military uniforms who attacked the police station in the Sheikh Osman district of northern Aden on Sunday morning and security forces. The clashes lasted for about an hour and caused panic among the neighboring residents.

A jewelry shop in the same neighborhood was attacked last Sunday by unidentified armed men wearing military uniforms, who looted the shop and fled on two cars they used to carry out the operation.

The city of Aden and the southern provinces are experiencing a state of security chaos and the spread of the Takfiri groups and gangs of murder and robbery under the powers of invasion and occupation.
