The armed clashes erupted Saturday between the parties loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in the Saudi-held city of Aden after the completion of two separate events on the occasion of the October 14th revolution, which marks the end of the British occupation of a part of Yemen’s south.

According to media sources, intense clashes broke out between a force of the security belt, which is affiliated with Emirati officers and others from the army in Salahuddin in Aden.

According to eyewitnesses, combats took place after the end of a military parade witnessed by the military college.

The city of Aden has recently experienced unprecedented unrest as preparations for the commemoration of the October 14 revolution took place, where each party seeks to exclude the other and appear to be in control of the events in the Saudi-controlled city.

On Wednesday morning, security forces arrested leaders of the Islah party while storming their headquarters and the houses of its leaders in Aden city, and transferred them to unknown destinations.
