The chiefs and wise men of Mo’in, Al-sabeen and Beni Al-Harith districts organized a protest in front of the United Nations building in Sana’a on Tuesday to demand the UN’sfulfillment of their commitments and pledges.

The participants called on the United Nations to start accomplishing the promises they have made that included giving off salaries to employees as well as managing the humanitarian situation in Yemen.

The protesters put the responsibility on the United Nations for what the Saudi-led coalition is committing of inhuman crimes and violations against the civilians of Yemen, stressing that the United Nations position encourages the coalition to keep on going with the humanitarian violations. Protesters also held the responsibility of the economic blockade imposed by the coalition on the UN as a result of its disastrous consequences.

Moreover, the participants conveyed the United Nations envoy in Yemen a message containing a number of requirements that summed up the overall demands of the protest.
