Yemeni women’s sport is considered a priority – Sport Minister

Minister of Youth and Sport, Hassan Zaid, said on Thursday that the Yemeni women’s sport is considered a priority in the ministry’s strategic tasks.
The minister’s remarks were made during a celebration organized by the ministry to honor over 70 U-19 female athletes in the capital Sana’a.
The women came from various Yemeni governorates to attend the celebration, in which 20 athletes were scheduled to travel abroad and take part in several international competitions.
