The spokesman of the Salvation Government Abdel Salam Jabber condemned the silence of the United Nations, its humanitarian and human rights organizations on the brutal crimes committed by the coalition on Yemen. Besides the UAE occupation establishment of secret prisons in the occupied southern province and the sexual abuses against detainees.

Jabber said in a statement to Saba (the official news agency of Yemen) that the United Nations agnoraness of its responsibility to condemn the brutal crimes against detainees and those who are being forcibly hidden in the secret prisons of the UAE, makes it a partner with the US-Saudi coalition in committing these crimes.

He pointed out that they would not go too far in committing these crimes without the shameful silence of the United Nations and its affiliated organizations.

He stressed that Amnesty International’s allegations of obstruction of humanitarian aid by the Salvation Government were uncorrect.

“Everyone knows that the coalition is blocking humanitarian aid before its arrival to Yemen and deliberately targeting it after it arrives,” he said.

He pointed out that the relief organizations are present on the ground with partners from civil society organizations and is working without obstacles. The Salvation Government provides all facilities for relief and humanitarian efforts.

Jabber also stressed that these fallacies are the same as that promoted by the US-Saudi coalition to justify his attack on Hodeidah and disable its port.
