Qalibaf during his meeting with Al-Naimi: Yemen has strengthened the resistance front
The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, praised the resistance of the Yemeni people against injustice and the economic blockade.
He said: “The Yemeni people have shown their resilience in the face of actions that violate international rules and the injustice of the oppressors, and have provided evidence of the strength of the unified resistance front in the economic, military and political fields,” expressing his appreciation for the Yemeni delegation’s attendance at the farewell ceremony for the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution.
During his meeting with Mohammed Al-Nuaimi, a member of the Supreme Political Council of the Republic of Yemen, on Sunday, Qalibaf stressed: “We must bring Islamic countries closer together through unity and solidarity,” according to the Iranian Mehr News Agency.
He stressed that regional security and economic development can only be achieved through cooperation and coordination among Islamic countries.
Referring to the defeat of the United States and the Zionist entity in the Ramadan War, the head of the Iranian negotiating team added: “In the recent memorandum, the United States and Israel were forced to practically recognize Iran’s allies in the Resistance Front, and this is one of the achievements of this memorandum. Iran and the Resistance Front stood united against the United States and Israel, and this memorandum is considered a defeat for the United States and an achievement for the Resistance Front, both militarily and politically.”
He stressed that the condition for serious negotiations is complete readiness for war, saying: “If the Americans and the Zionist entity sense a moment of weakness or waning in our fighting resolve, they will resort to war. At the beginning of the Ramadan War, they set nine specific goals against the Islamic Republic that they were supposed to achieve within a few days; however, they did not achieve any of them by the end of the forty days, and after the mediators requested a ceasefire.”
Qalibaf pointed out that some Islamic countries that were once under American influence and had ties with the Zionist entity have now realized that neither America nor Israel can provide them with security and economic stability. Therefore, we must bring Islamic countries closer together through unity and integrity.
Emphasizing Yemen’s pivotal role in the resistance front, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly stated: “Yemen and the Yemeni people have always stood with the resistance, and have defended Gaza, Lebanon, and Palestine through all difficulties. This war has shown the Yemeni people to all countries that have aligned themselves with America and Israel that they have chosen the wrong path.”
Meanwhile, Mohammed Al-Nuaimi offered his condolences on the martyrdom of the leader of the revolution, and conveyed the warmest greetings from the leader of the revolution, Mr. Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, saying: “We and you are in the same trench, and we stand together for the sake of the Islamic nation. Our leader has affirmed that standing with the Islamic Republic of Iran is a duty for all of us, and we must draw inspiration from the blood of the martyred leader, just as we draw inspiration from the blood of the Master of Martyrs (peace be upon him), the spirit of struggle and resistance.”
He added, stressing the need to maintain the unity of the resistance front, saying: What happened in Iran during the last war has become a school for all resistance fronts, and Iran’s political moves were also valuable lessons.
In conclusion, Al-Nuaimi pointed to the worrying role of some Islamic countries, saying: “While we support cooperation with Islamic countries, the negative and reactionary actions of some of these countries worry us. We are ready for any diplomatic cooperation, and if diplomatic efforts fail, we are fully prepared to take defensive measures.”
