Revolution Leader Calls for Unprecedented Two‑Million‑Strong March Tomorrow, Friday, in Support of Gaza
In a decisive move expressing his steadfast and principled position, Commander Abdul‑Malik Badr al‑Din al‑Houthi—may God protect him—has called upon the great Yemeni people to take part in an unprecedented, two‑million‑strong demonstration tomorrow, Friday, in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza.
In his address today, Thursday, Commander al‑Houthi emphasized that the Islamic Ummah is passing through an exceptional phase, marked by the shameful indifference of most Arab and Islamic regimes toward the Palestinian cause.
He explained:
“The Palestinian people are enduring tragedies without precedent, which obliges every son of Yemen to be at the forefront of supportive actions for the Palestinian cause. Participation in this popular movement is a humanitarian and moral duty in every sense of the word.”
Commander al‑Houthi affirmed that the anticipated mass turnout must be unparalleled in its scale and engagement, so as to genuinely convey the suffering of the Palestinians.
He appealed to the people of Yemen in the capital, Sanaa, and in all other governorates and districts to sustain this ongoing mobilization in a way that reflects their solidarity with the Palestinian cause and their commitment to justice in the face of oppression.
Addressing the Yemeni people directly, Commander al‑Houthi said:
“Your persistent participation each week with this tremendous momentum is a jihad that God will not let go to waste, and it reinforces the faith‑based and humanitarian values that distinguish our people.”
In conclusion, Commander al‑Houthi lauded last Friday’s demonstrations and protest sit‑ins, affirming that they were massive, powerful, and lived up to the aspirations of our people. He called for this upcoming million‑strong event to be even larger and more widespread than ever before.
