Iranian Army Announces Targeting of Ben Gurion Airport in a Massive Attack

The Iranian army announced on Saturday that it had carried out a large-scale drone attack targeting sensitive sites belonging to the Zionist entity within Lod Airport.

In an urgent statement, the army explained that the operation focused on the new control tower, the control towers of Terminals 1 and 2, as well as navigation and radar systems, with the aim of disrupting the enemy’s air command and control system and preventing the guidance of attacking fighter jets.

The army confirmed that targeting Lod Airport was in response to its use by the US military and the Zionist entity in operations against Iran, indicating that the attack represents revenge for the blood of martyrs and confirms that the response will continue “with full force and in proportion to the level of aggression to teach the enemy a harsh lesson.”

The statement also emphasized that the operation directly targeted reconnaissance and electronic warfare systems, in a move aimed at limiting the enemy’s ability to monitor the airspace, reflecting a qualitative escalation in the regional confrontation.
