Iran warns “Israel” over continued attacks in southern Lebanon
Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters has issued a warning over Israel’s ongoing military operations in southern Lebanon, stating that the continuation of such actions could trigger a response from the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In a statement, the headquarters said that the Israeli military had violated the ceasefire in southern Lebanon 84 times over the past two days, despite the US president’s announcement of the end of the war, and had continued its military operations in the area.
The statement accused Israel of persisting in what it described as attacks and killings of Lebanese civilians, asserting that military actions in southern Lebanon had not ceased despite the declared ceasefire.
In the concluding section of the statement, the headquarters warned: “Should the child-killing army of the Zionist regime fail to put an end to its hostile actions in southern Lebanon, it must be prepared to face a harsh response from the powerful armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
