Iran Respond to Ben Salman’s Remarks

Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman Bahram Qasimi said that Saudi Arabia was seeking to provoke tension in the region in response to comments made by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

In a comment on the remarks, Qassimi said Saudi Arabia was seeking to provoke tension in the region, describing the comments of Crown Prince and Saudi Defense Minister on Iran as “destructive”.

The Iranian diplomat also accused Saudi Arabia of supporting terrorism, saying the statements were proofs  that Saudi Arabia was supporting terrorism and pursuing policies of confrontation and destruction in the region and toward Iran.

Mohammed bin Salman yesterday made statements about Iran, saying its “policy of interfering in the affairs of the Arab region” is  rejected by Riyadh.

He ruled out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will have a dialogue with Tehran, stressing the need to protect his country from what he described as “Iranian efforts to dominate the Muslim world”
