We Confirm Our Choice of Confronting the Saudi-Led Coalition: Hundreds of Yemeni Dignitaries at 10th of Ramadan Meeting

Hundreds of Yemeni participants on the meeting of the 10th of Ramadan for scholars and dignitaries emphasized that the option to address the Saudi-led coalition is a strategic option until the liberation of all the Saudi occupied territories, local source reported to YemenExtra.

They also stressed on their internal unity to face the current Saudi war that began on the 26th of March, 2015.

The attendees issued a final statement at the end of the meeting, reaffirming the sovereignty, independence and unity of Yemen and rejecting the external tutelage and practices of the Saudi-led coalition of occupation against southern and eastern Yemeni provinces.

The tenth of Ramadan meeting called upon the fooled ones, referring to those working for the Saudi coalition in the inside, to wake up from betrayal and stand as one with the rest of the resistant Yemenis against the Saudi war.

The meeting held today called by the Ansar Allah leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, included the following points:

1) Emphasis on the sovereignty, independence and unity of Yemen and the rejection of external tutelage.

2) The option of confronting the Saudi-led coalition is a strategic option until the liberation of all the occupied territories.

3) Forming a committee to follow up the outcomes of the meeting held on the 10th of Ramadan.

4) We invite writers, intellectuals and academics to do their part in confronting the US-backed Saudi war.

5) We call on all people to pay attention and efforts on agriculture as we remain besieged.

6) Full rejection of the continued Saudi imposed blockade, and support all efforts to break it.

7) The need to activate the official bodies to combat corruption.

8) We call on the government to fight corruption and improve the economic situation as much as possible.

9) Activating state institutions to enhance social resilience and alleviate the suffering caused by the Saudi war

10) Activating the role of women in the face of the Saudi-led coalition and their remarkable sacrifices.

11) Activating the role of scholars, preachers and guides in confronting the Saudi war and spread awareness among people about their fund of terrorism internally, such as the terrorist organizations of Al-Qaeda and Daesh.

12) Encourage and support the role of the rugged Yemeni tribes in the combat with the Saudi forces and their allies.

13) Official and popular attention for the families of the fighters among the Yemeni joint military on battlefields, as well as families of martyrs, wounded and prisoners.

14) The strengthening of frontlines by the Yemeni-Saudi border and the internal ones by supplying them with sufficient money and weapons, confirming it is a responsibility of all.

15) Emphasize the activation of commitments between the national forces to maintain national unity.

16) The necessity of unifying the media discourse within the priority of confronting the Saudi war and leaving aside the disagreements.

17) Social solidarity and brotherhood to strengthen cohesion against coalition forces.

18) Inviting the deputed to wake up and return to the national ranks.

19) Strengthening the national partnership between anti-coalition components.

20) Confronting the coalition is an absolute official and popular priority and the rejection of any tendency to undermine the national front.
