UNICEF: More Than 200 Children Have Been Killed in Yemen Since the Beginning of 2017

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) said, Monday, that the number of child victims in Yemen reached more than 200 children, since the beginning of the year of 2017.

The figures released by the UN official are not limited to child deaths as he also stated that, “there are 347 children who were deformed by the war this year, 113 of whom are girls.”

The United Nations said that the war in Yemen led to the deaths of at least 1,546 children and inflicting 2450 others with distortion, calling for a halt to the war on Yemen.

The warplanes of the Saudi-led coalition had committed a massacre in the Mahda area of Saada goverorate, which killed six children, including 4 girls, ages ranging from 2 to 14 years.
