Former Lebanese President, Emile Lahoud, confirmed that after the failure of the American-backed Zionist project and after victory over a supporter, victory in Iraq is near, and victory is coming in Syria. “As we will win soon in Syria, we will prevail in Yemen.”

Lahoud’s speech came during a visit by a delegation of Lebanese and Palestinian actors to his home to congratulate him on Lebanon’s victory over Israel in 2006.

Lahoud said that Lebanon, the small country, had defeated Israel backed by the strongest country in the world, the United States. “Yemen is bigger than Lebanon and will prevail over Saudi Arabia.”

“As they are demanding now to stop the war in Syria after their failure, they will demand that it be stopped in Yemen at the last minute, because they have not achieved their goals there,” Lahoud said.

President Lahoud said that after the failure of the US-backed Israeli project in Iraq, Syria and Yemen, I am afraid of Lebanese-Lebanese strife through the exploitation of Syrian refugees. Otherwise, why are there 1.5 million Syrian refugees?

“Many of them want to return to Syria, but their return is being delayed for reasons that we fear will be an Israeli sedition.

“I have learned as a military that the resistance wins against any external enemy occupying its territory, but in internal strife it is very different,” Lahoud said, expressing regret for the positions of some officials who do not stop much to the danger of what a 1.5 million refugees can do if no action is taken to facilitate their return. Syria after most of their areas were liberated.

“The more we raise our voices about the seriousness of the issue, the more people say, ‘Where are the human rights?’” But our response to them is that it is normal for a refugee to return to his homeland after the end of the war.
