The number of victims in a new Saudi massacre that occurred on Friday against the Yemeni fishermen in the province of Hodeidah has reached nine killed and seven wounded, according to a medical source close to YemenExtra.

A number of fishermen were killed and injured while some others survived as a result of targeting with 2 missiles four fishing boats on Friday that were in the middle of the sea at Al-Bawadi Island, district of Al-Lihya, northern province of Hodeidah. The crime was committed while the fishers were exercising maritime activity in search of their and their childrens’ livelihood.

The hideous crime against the fishermen at sea shows only some of the violations committed by the Saudi-led coalition against Yemeni fishermen.

In the same context, fishermen stressed their full right to exercise their maritime duty freely, emphasizing that the massacres and brutality of the coalition would not frighten them from carrying out their daily routine.
