Turkey buys four S-400 systems from Russia
Turkey bought four S-400 systems from Russia for $ 2.5 billion, and 55 percent of the value of the contract is Russian credit, Sergei Chimeyov, director-general of Russia’s Defense Systems Export Corporation, said on Wednesday (December 27th).
In an interview with the daily Kommersant, Chmizov confirmed that Turkey had purchased four systems.
Chmizov said, answering a question in this regard:
Yes, worth $ 2.5 billion.
“Only the approval of the final documents remains. I can say that 45 percent of the total value of the contract will be paid as an advance, 55 percent of the value of the contract is a Russian loan and we plan to start supplying it in March 2020,” he added.
