One of the prisoners died in the prisones of the pro-UAE Shaban elite on Sunday as a result of the torture he received in a prison.
According to press sources, the prisoner called “Mohsen Atroush” died after several months of the detention by the elite forces on charges of terrorism in the province.

The sources added that Atroush died inside a prison belonging to the Shaban elite forces and was transferred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, which sent him to forensic medicine and in turn revealed the reasons for his death.

In the report, which was circulated by the media and obtained by Al-Masa’a Press, showed that the death of Ataroush was the result of the torture he received inside the prison .

International organizations accused the UAE of running secret prisons in the southern provinces and committing grave violations against prisoners and citizens who oppose its policies there.
