Assassinations take place in Hadramout

Unknown gunmen took the life of a citizen in Hadramout province on Thursday night, local sources told YemenExtra.

The incident took place at Abdu Moqbil bin Kadda al-Katheri on the highway in Shibam Hadramout district and fled.

The armed groups roamed in the districts in a full absence of the security services and the closure of the police station in the city for nearly two years.

The districts of Hadramout Valley are the scenes of assassinations, amid the increasing of local demands to hand over the First Military Region to local elite forces loyal to UAE forces and drive out forces loyal to the northern general Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar.
