A US report reveals new information about the assassinations of southern Yemen ,the relationship between the UAE ,Khashoggi
Once again, the American site “Buzfeed” revealed that the Saudi-led coalition, backed by the US, , specifically the UAE, used US fighters, who received specialized training by the US military, to carry out assassinations in Yemen.
The site said in a report published on Monday that the assassinations carried out in Yemen reached prominent clerics and Islamic political figures.
It pointed out that among the targeted victimes was Ansaf Ali Mohamed Mayo, the local leader of the Islah political party.
The report said the company that hired the soldiers and carried out the attack was Operation Spear Group, founded in Delaware by Abraham Golan, an Israeli-Hungarian security contractor who lives outside Pittsburgh and he is the one who carried out the assissantionas of Mayo.
“There was an assassination program in Yemen, which I supervised and carried out at the request of the UAE within the coalition,” Gulan said.
The website revealed that the discovery that one of the Middle East countries hired mercenaries to carry out the assassinations comes at a moment when the world focuses on the assassination of journalist #Jamal Khashoggi by Saudi Arabia, governed by a regime with close ties with the United States and the United Arab Emirates, which confirms the compatibility of Riyadh and Abu Dhabi On the filtering policy for each opponent sound .
The website noted that Gulan said his team was responsible for a number of prominent assassinations in the Yemen war but declined to disclose the list of assassinations. In fact, the war in Yemen has become increasingly privatized, when many countries outsource military support services, making frontline fighting the only job in which the United States and many other armies have not contracted profitable ventures.
According to experts, the United States is not expected to be aware that the UAE, which the United States has guaranteed to arm at almost all levels, has hired a US company in which US veterans employees to carry out an assassination program. The CIA has denied its knowledge of the involvement of former US fighters in the assassination. It is assumed that the State Department is responsible for organizing companies that provide military services to foreign countries.
The site said that the assassinations for profit form new dilemmas in modern warfare. Gulan insisted he was charged with killing people identified by only the UAE government . But who determines who is the terrorist and the political? Who has the right to choose who lives and who dies?
In March 2015, the US -backed –Saudi-led coalition started a war against Yemen with the declared aim of crushing the Houthi Ansarullah movement, who had taken over from the staunch Riyadh ally and fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, while also seeking to secure the Saudi border with its southern neighbor. Three years and over 60,000 dead and injured Yemeni people and prevented the patients from travelling abroad for treatment and blocked the entry of medicine into the war-torn country, the war has yielded little to that effect.
Despite the coalition claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi bombers are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.
More than 2,200 others have died of cholera, and the crisis has triggered what the United Nations has described as the world’s worst humanitarian disaster.
However, Saudi Arabia relies heavily on the US in its brutal war on Yemen. Washington has deployed a commando force on the Arab kingdom’s border with Yemen to help destroy arms belonging to Yemen’s popular Houthi Ansarullah movement. Washington has also provided logistical support and aerial refueling.
