Amid the chaos taking place in the Saudi-held Aden coastal province, southern Yemen, the appointed governor by the Saudis, Abdulaziz Al-Maflahi, whom is currently present in Riyadh, stated he has lost control over Aden.

The governor expressed that the province is in a state of insecurity, local source reported to YemenExtra.

“The water and electricity institutions had announced that their service is coming to an end due to the shortage of diesel material that operate stations of Aden,” he stated and confirmed his failure to take care of the coastal province.

The statements of the governor come under the circumstances witnessed by Aden and the southern provinces of security dilemmas and the presence of forces affiliated with the Saudis and their allies. The forces have reportedly been disrupting internal peace and security.

It is worth mentioning that the water and electricity institutions had previously declared a complete collapse in the next few hours due to the lack of diesel material for generators and pumps in the city.

Citizens in the city of Aden have complained for weeks of poor water supplies and lack of its access to their homes.
