Syrian Army keeps advancing in Deir Ezzor, captures new town

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) resumed their advance in the Deir Ezzor Governorate, today, liberating a new town south of the provincial capital.
Led by the 4th Mechanized Division and 5th Legion, the Syrian Arab Army attacked Daesh’s (ISIS) positions at the small town of Mahkan.
Within hours of waging the attack, the Syrian Arab Army was capable of overtaking the terrorists inside Mahkan, forcing the remaining terrorists to retreat from the town.
According to a military report, the Syrian Army took the lives of at least eight Daesh militants during the attack, while also seizing a large cache of weapons left inside the town.
